Since July 4th fell on a Sunday this year, our community held its annual parade on July 3rd.
Merrilee and mommy were both decked out in red, white and blue. Merrilee wore a cute little "America's Sweetheart" t-shirt, and waved her flag all through the parade.
The parade had lots of fire engines, marching bands, floats, veterans, and of course, politicians. The weather was perfect for a parade. Okay, maybe it was just a tad warm. But as they say, a good time was had by all!Here are some scenes from the parade...
